Mohamed El-Khatib is the Director of the Education Department at the Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation- Egypt. He is also a Regional Faculty member for the American Heart Association (AHA) in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and Program Coordinator for postgraduate nursing education in collaboration with Queen Margaret University (UK).
He serves as Associate Editor for the Open Access Journal of Cardiology, as well as a peer reviewer for the European Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing. His work focuses on advancing nursing education, developing clinical competencies, and strengthening the cardiac nursing workforce in low- and middle-income countries.
