I was born in 1968 in Kaposvár, Hungary. After high school, I continued my studies at the Medical University of Pécs and graduated from the Semmelweis Medical University in Budapest in 1992. I qualified in pediatrics in 1996 and pediatric cardiology in 2000 at the Medical Postgraduate University of Budapest.
I have supplemented my fellowship in pediatric cardiology with international training. From 1999-2000 I was employed at the Eppendorf University Hospital in Hamburg and from 2007-2009 at the Electrophysiology Laboratory of the "Krankenhaus Links der Weser" Hospital in Bremen. My current clinical responsibilities include leading the pediatric and congenital electrophysiology program at the Gottsegen National Cardiovascular Center and co-management the pediatric and congenital catheter interventional program. I am a board member of several scientific societies and international congresses, and I was the chair of the Dysrhythmia and Electrophysiology working group at the AEPC from 2019-2022.
