Francesco Sturla is full-time researcher at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato (Italy). He obtained his PhD in Cardiovascular Sciences at the University of Verona (Italy) in 2015. Post-Doc researcher at Politecnico di Milano in 2015-2017, he is member of the joint 3D and Computer Simulation Laboratory at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato (Italy). His research mainly focuses on computational cardiovascular biomechanics. He is author of 70 publications in peer- reviewed journals, 5 book chapters and more than 100 contributions to International and National Conferences. He is member of the European Society of Biomechanics since 2015. He is Associate Editor for Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine and Frontiers in Medical Technology.
