
After finishing his medical degree, Dr Rosés completed a General Paediatric Cardiology training at Vall d’Hebron Hospital in 2010. Dr Rosés was appointed as a clinical fellow in paediatric electrophysiology at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, where he completed his specialized training in paediatric arrythmias and electrophysiology and inherited cardiac conditions.
In 2011, Dr Rosés was appointed Paediatric Electrophysiology Consultant at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, where he was actively involved in educational programs focused on the diagnostic and treatment arrhythmias in paediatric patients and patients with congenital heart disease.
In April 2014, Dr Rosés was appointed Paediatric Electrophysiology Consultant and Lead of the Paediatric Cardiology Service of the Vall d’Hebron University Hospital, in Barcelona and Associate Professor in Paediatric Cardiology in the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).
Vall d’Hebron University Hospital is one of the largest hospitals in Spain has 7 quality accreditations by the Spanish Ministry of Health. Also, Vall d’Hebron is a full member of 3 European Reference Networks (ERN Transplant Child, and ERN Guard Heart (Myocardiopathies Adults and Children and Congenital Heart diseases Adults and Children)
Over the past years, Dr Rosés has focused his research to helping children with congenital heart disease, particularly those with arrhythmias and inherited cardiac conditions, focusing on rare diseases like catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia and long QT syndrome.
He has started a research program with several projects in advanced cardiac ablation for children with arrythmias, cardiac resynchronization therapy, sudden death syndrome and molecular autopsy.
He has initiated and international education program promoting the use of Intracardiac Echography in the paediatric electrophysiology field and he has also initiated an international registry of Conduction System pacing in children in collaboration with PACES
Dr Rosés has co-authored more than 70 publications, including international peer-reviewed journals, national journals, and book chapters.
