Prof. dr. Eva Goossens is an Associate Professor in Advanced Nursing Practice at the University of Antwerp and the Antwerp University Hospital (UZA).
She earned her PhD at KU Leuven on transitional care for young people with congenital heart disease and expanded her expertise through postdoctoral work in Sweden and Canada.
For the past five years, she has coordinated the Master in Advanced Nursing Practice at the University of Antwerp. Eva leads the PANCARD research team, which examines how advanced nursing practice contributes to the management of chronic conditions from childhood through older age. Her research expertise entails the development, implementation and evaluation of care pathways for women with CVD during the perinatal and post-partum periods, with a specific focus on PROs/PREs.
