Arlaine French is a Deputy Clinical Nurse Specialist for Evelina Children’s Hospital with Guys and St Thomas’ Trust working for their Paediatric Cardiology Data team.
Her career path has taken her from Coronary ICU to Neonatal ICU, Paediatric Cardiac ICU and transport associate for the Acute Care Transport Services of Toronto’s SickKids Hospital.
She has worked and held nursing registrations in Canada, Australia and the United Kingdom, previously gaining the Canadian Nurses Association certification in Cardiovascular Nursing and an Advanced Paediatric Cardiology program certificate by Sickkids International.
Her interests include focusing on how to implement and improve upon the use of technology in healthcare and strengthening nursing leadership. Her experience includes setting up unit councils and taking on results-driven change projects in her previous places of work.
