
Enrico Piccinelli, MD, PhD, is a clinical and interventional paediatric cardiologist. He trained at Niguarda Hospital in Milan and at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, and is currently working with the interventional paediatric cardiology team at Ospedale Pediatrico Bambino Gesù in Rome.
He obtained a PhD in Bioengineering and Medical-Surgical Sciences from the Politecnico di Torino as a recipient of a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions grant. He is currently the Junior Councillor of the AEPC Interventional Working Group.
He is the first author and co-author of numerous papers published in major cardiology journals, particularly in the field of interventional paediatric cardiology and is a speaker at national and international congresses.
As a volunteer with several humanitarian non-profit organizations, he has participated in paediatric ECG screening programs in Italy and paediatric echocardiographic screening initiatives in Kosovo
