
Dr Sara Moscatelli is a cardiologist with specialised expertise in congenital heart diseases and advanced cardiovascular imaging, including echocardiography and cardiac MRI. She is currently pursuing a PhD focused on arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathies, with particular interest in desmosomal gene variants, early phenotypes, and integration of genetics with multimodality imaging.
With clinical and research experience gained at leading centres such as the Royal Brompton Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, she combines patient-centred care with active involvement in research, statistics, and emerging applications of artificial intelligence in cardiology.
She is engaged in international collaborations, contributes to AEPC, ESC initiatives in cardiovascular genomics, and is committed to advancing education for young imagers and clinicians.
