I am currently working as a Paediatric Cardiologist in the UK having previously worked at Starship Children’s Hospital, New Zealand and before this as a consultant at both the Royal Brompton Hospital and University Hospital Southampton. I was trained at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto and at Guy’s Hospital, London. I have a particular interest in the catheter-based treatment of children and adults with congenital heart disease and for the past 20 years have trained and mentored colleagues in LMICs in this field. I was previously the UK lead for all Paediatric Cardiology training and was President of the British Congenital Cardiac Association.
