How to get there?
Well-connected to the main highways and very close to the train station, as well as within easy reach of the Venice Marco Polo International Airport, Padova Congress is in a strategic location, accessible to the main road junctions and within walking distance of the city center, a stunning showcase with its artistic and architectural treasures.
By Bus: The city suburban bus terminal, with dozens of carriers and daily connections, is located next to the train station, less than 500 meters from Padova Congress. Tram Line and most bus lines stop at Padova Train Station. From here you can decide to have a 10 min walk or take a bus to Padova

By Train: The train station is around 500 meters from the Congress Center: a route easily covered on foot, by bus (line 3 or line 10 or line 25) or by taxi. By train, Padua is about 2 hours from Milan, 1½ hours from Bologna and only 20 minutes from Vicenza and Venice.

By Car: For those traveling on the Milan-Venice highway (A4), Padova Congress can be reached in a few minutes by following the signs for the Fiera di Padova, either from the Padova Est exit or from the Padova Ovest exit about 5 km away. If taking the Bologna-Padova highway (A13), the exit is Padova Sud.

By Plane: The nearest airport, about 30 minutes away, is Venice Marco Polo International Airport in Tessera, which is connected to major European and non-European destinations. Treviso and Verona airports are also within easy reach.

Language
The official language of the AEPC 2026 Annual Meeting is English. No translations will be available during the meeting sessions.
Time Zone
In May 2026, Italy observes Central European Summer Time (CEST), which is 2 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+2).
Climate
During spring and autumn there are usually sunny days with mild temperatures.
Clothing
The dress code for the AEPC 2026 Annual Meeting is business formal or business casual for all occasions unless stated otherwise.
Currency & Exchange
The Euro is the currency of Italy. 1 euro equals 100 cents, with the denominations 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 & 50 cents as well as 1 & 2 euro being available as coins. Euro notes come in denominations of 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500 euro.
Exchanging Money: Most banks offer a foreign exchange facility and generally offer the best exchange rates.
Credit & Debit Cards: Credit cards Visa and MasterCard are more widely accepted in Hamburg than Amex or Diners Club, which may not be accepted in smaller establishments.
Electricity
The standard voltage in Italy is 230V at 50 Hertz . Sockets accept two-round-pin style plugs. If you travel with a device that does not accept 230 Volts at 50 Hertz, you will need to bring a voltage converter with you. You may also need a plug adapter if your appliance's plug has a different shape.

The Meeting Secretariat and Organisers cannot accept liability for personal accidents or for loss of or damage to the private property of participants. Upon registration, participants agree that neither the AEPC Council, the Organising Committee nor the Meeting Secretariat assumes any liabilities.
Participants are advised to arrange their personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
Safety & Security
Bags and/or suitcases must not be left unattended at any time, whether inside or outside the meeting venue and session halls. As all hotels do, we strongly recommend that our participants use the safety deposit boxes for their valuables.
